Description
Copper is a 23 year old registered QH gelding. He’s 15.1hh and an easy keeper, he has been on grass or a timothy bale all summer. He was my main ranch horse for 5 years, and is now looking for a semi retirement home where he can trail ride and take life a little easier. We have started lots of beginners on him over the years and he would be great for a confidant kid to ride. His quirk is he doesn’t like wire or rope tangled around his feet and will get very jumpy until he is free of it. That being said, he is a solid ride and I can crack a bull whip off his back while chasing cows. Copper has been on hunting trips, packed and rode, and is great on bush trails and not afraid of wildlife. He loads and trailers well and is good for farrier work. Pick up near Peace River, Alberta.
