2017 Thoroughbred Mare for Sale: Smirk n Swagger (Jockey Club registered) is a 16-hand mare with excellent potential as a hunter or jumper. She is sired by Old Forester and out of American Armada. With only three races under her belt, she has been given ample time to mature physically and mentally. This green mare goes walk, trot, canter, stretches into contact, and has been lightly started over cross rails. She also free jumps 3'3 and has great ground manners.
Her personality makes her suitable for amateur riders, and she would thrive with an intermediate rider working with a coach. She is up-to-date farrier and vet work, with her teeth done this past month. Some slight cosmetic scarring on her hind left leg which has no effect on her movement or soundness.
Currently living outside 24/7 with twice-daily grain and blankets. She has been barefoot for 4 years but has recently had shoes put on due to thin soles
