17 year old QH mare for sale. June used to be a brood mare but retired a couple years before we bought her. She enjoys barrel racing, a little jumping, and rides down the road. She has good ground training, and is very easy to saddle, bridal, lung, and mount. She is easy going with the fairier and is normally quite calm. She takes dewormer very well, and doesn’t freak out at the sight of it. When I first bought June, I was quite impressed on how easily she trailers, she is very calm and doesn’t try pawing at the ground or anything. She has the energy of a 5 year old, but the manners of a well trained horse. She is super used to farm equipment and animals. She is used to loud noises and dogs running by her. She never gets scared when a car passes us on the road or a semi drives past when I’m in the field. I have never taken her trail riding since she prefers to be running over walking.
