Description

14yr old 15.2hh registered QH mare for lease/part board she is presently located at Braille farm in shannonville. She is well mannered on the ground, grooms/bathes/trailers/ties/clips fine, is good for the vet and farrier. Mainly has been used for trail/road riding but she has done arena work including trot poles, patterns and cross rails, she was trained for reining but never finished to actually neck rain (she knows the spins/roll backs etc.) and moves well off of your leg but is a little rusty on those. She could be suitable for a knowledgeable and confident beginner with the basics down and a trainer, but will likely do better with a more intermediate rider as she can be a bit forward and nervous if she doesn't think you know what you're doing and likes to test a bit if you mean what you say. Nothing mean/dangerous just head tossing/refusing to turn/move forward etc. Which stops once you show her you mean it. Price for lease is negotiable based on number of rides per week, her board is currently 450$ and will include everything (feed, english + western + Australian tack, farrier/deworming/shots, blankets/grooming supplies) Please contact me if you have any questions or would like to meet/test ride her and see if you're a good match. Lease to own/off property lease is possible if its a good fit. Would be willing to sell with a by back guarantee to the right home with a short lease period at the beginning. I have had her since she was 4 so its very important she goes to home that is a good fit, only reason I am looking to lease is my job keeps me very busy and she deserves more time and attention. Please don't contact me looking for free riding time, work to ride etc. I appreciate the intent but it's not what I'm looking for.
