Exterior measurements are 41’ along the front, 41’ on one side, the other side is 23’ juts in 15’ with 18’to the rear of the house which is 26’ (ref to the diagrams in photos) 343 Moilliet St. Parksville BC, A Craftsman Style 1 and ½ story home, 1,113 sq ft, 3 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, front parlor with wood stove next to a bright living room both with wood floors, large kitchen with lots of cabinets, master bedroom is on the main floor with walk in closet, the other two bedrooms are upstairs with large windows and skylight, newer windows, stucco exterior, and welcoming covered front porch entrance. The exterior measurements are 27’ on both the front and back, both sides are 31’, with a porch on the front that is 8’6” wide x 6’ deep (ref to diagrams in photos) Either of these houses could be ideal for a primary home, guest house, rental property, cabin or recreation property. Both houses need some renovations. You decide what you want to do with it. All you need to do is: -First, be willing to take the houses as is. We will provide you with a hazardous materials report as is required to relocate a residential building in BC. -Be able to pay a building moving company the cost of relocating the house to your property. It depends on where you want to move it. However, the closer to Parksville on Vancouver Island the less expensive it will be. -Ensure that there is enough room to place the house within the setbacks of your property, and that your local municipal or county allows and approves a house on your property. -Together we will need to confirm with the building moving company that the structure can be relocated to your property, it has to be logistically possible to move it on the roads and bridges, or on a barge. -You will need to prepare your site for the house by building some kind of a foundation and/or a crawl space, and connecting the utilities and services, or use a well and septic field, however you prefer. The reason we are eager to have these houses moved is that they were the original houses on the property that we have now turned into a small subdivision. We need to move these 2 houses before we can sell the lots in the subdivision, and spring is almost here! Now is a good time to relocate a house and renovate it how you like it at a small fraction of the price of the cost of a new build.
