The piece is modular and in two pieces - a top (the glass portion) and bottom (the detailed wood carved shelves with handles). This makes transport easier and use more versatile.

It has been emptied and is ready for transport in two pieces (top and bottom).

Includes a deep cutlery drawer (or for office supplies) and lighted feature to better display display contents or books (if using as bookcase - modern use).

Note it's beautiful handmade details and craftsmanship. They don't make furniture like this anymore. This is not made in China but truly made in Italy.
