**************************** Ornate Victorian Oval Cast Iron Hanging Mirror ( 1800s ~ Ex ) ****************************** For sale is an oval, ornate Victorian cast iron hanging mirror with beveled glass and matte gold finish (Note; the mirror has a gold tin backing which someone has covered in green felt at some time in the past, I would guess so that the mirror could be used as a vanity tray “see 7th photo”). Frame measures 18-1/4 inches in height and 13-1/8 inches in width, the oval mirror measuring 11-5/8 inches in height by 8-7/8 inches in width, being in excellent condition with the original mirror showing some signs of aging (Note; the mirror has a 5/8 of an inch long scratch on the backside of the glass "see 3rd photo", and some minor spotting and fogging. I used black and white board to highlight these marks which in person are fairly minor, and actually enhance the overall aesthetic appearance of the mirror “see photos”).
