For sale is a lovely set of Six (6) fine condition, Victorian Fairy-Themed Durable Cork-Backed Table Placemats!
Each of these mats measures 16.75" wide x 11.25" high. The illustrations are superb, and each has a pretty poem describing the spritely character pictured!
There are four fairies represented, with two of the placemat images being duplicated. Included are:
1 @ Chicory Fairy;
1 @ Sweet Chestnut Fairy;
2 @ Blackthorn Fairy
2 @ Sweet Pea Fairy
Overall, the condition is superb, with the colours, font, and illustrations being clear and tidy! The boards feature rounded corners and a wipeable, high-gloss, coated paper surface. Minimal scuffing noted on the edges of a few of the placemats, as expected with age and gentle use. One has lost a small chip of corner cork backing, but this is not noticeable from the front-facing surface.
A charming set for display, table use, or for gift giving!
