A reclaimed wooden hand-hewn timber beam from a century old barn which was carefully salvaged during disassembly. Beams are denailed and sized according to usable wood length. All timber is stored indoors and out of the elements for preservation.
It was assessed by an arborist to be a very solid, excellent hard Maple specimen.
These would make an excellent rustic accent for a new home and would fit seemlessly into a log cabin. Alternatively they could even serve as a countrystyle fireplace mantle or wall-unit.
When installed horizontally the Height (Face), Width (Depth) and usable Length of this beam are 19"h 12"w (in the center) and 30.5' long. The ends of this beam are hand tapered down to 12" by 12". In addition the original hand carved mounting tabs are present on this piece and add 10" to the length on each side if you choose to keep them on. This is an EXTREMELY rare piece to find.
