For sale is a rare, exceptionally fine condition, Vintage 1980s Decorative Mirror by respected Quebecois artist, Roland Parret! The simplicity of the brilliant golden brass frame allows the evocative floral image to shine! Measuring 34.25" tall x 24.25" wide, this image features sleek and elegant calla lilies. It has been skillfully fashioned with various muted tones of precisely cut and layered pieces of smoked glass. The art piece is substantially heavy, with sturdy hardware to allow for secure mounting of the piece. The condition is clean and near perfect with no cracks, chips, scratches, noted to the glass or the frame. A very small, minor spot of wear is noted to the silvered backing, below the signature. This in no way detracts from the overall appeal or integrity of the piece. The artist has clearly etched his signature onto the bottom right hand corner of the glass. About the artist... Roland Parret (1935-2006) was a French Canadian postwar and contemporary artist. He painted in a modernist abstract style, and his popular smoked glass dimensional mirrors are reminiscent of art deco!
