This is a BEAUTIFUL Limoges (France) porcelain candle holder in pristine condition. Bright, with transfer florals accented with royal blue trim. This candle holder has gentle curves with a top portion added for the candle holder. Around the top is a rim to catch the dripping wax. It is 6½” tall with a round base 4” in diameter. It is clearly marked on the base: LIMOGES FRANCE Limoges porcelain is considered among the finest in the world. This candle holder is a high quality hard paste porcelain from Limoges, France (which is located in the Limousine region of France, just south of Paris). Companies were making Limoges porcelain as far back as the 19th century. It was a beautiful and elegant status symbol for brides in the early 1900s.

It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or crazing. A lovely piece of art that will enhance any setting.
