Vintage,Lighthouse, Reverse Painted Glass Lamp Shade Table Lamp

Quality table lamps with reverse painted glass lamp shades are hard to find nowadays. For those who are unfamiliar with the term ‘reverse painted’, what it means is that the inside of the lamp shade has been hand painted. This beautiful lamp with a lighthouse and lake/sea setting on the glass shade would be an ideal decor for a home or cottage near the water. The lamp and lamp shade is in very good condition. You will note that one of the two pull on/off chains for the lamp is shinier as one of the light sockets has been replaced. The base of this lamp is heavy and has the feel it it could be cast iron. A softer light bulb would give a slightly different effect.
