Food Truck for Sale Grumman Step Van

1988 Grumman step van Food Truck 14 foot boxed in kitchen area with insulated walls and ceiling. The truck itself runs on propane. There are two different fuel tanks, one for the truck and a separate one for the kitchen operations.

The truck was converted into a Food Truck about a year ago. Except for the display fridge, all the other equipment was brand new at the time it was installed. The big flat top and the deep fryer were never used as our Menu didn’t call for them. Everything is working properly, and we used the kitchen for approximately one month.

Due to wildfires activities in our area and issue with the propane (explained below), we were forced to shut down and missed our opportunity to establish our customer base.

Kitchen is equipped with:

2 Basket deep fryer;

Triple sink;

Hand wash sink;

2 Flat tops; one small and one large;

Full size oven;

4 Burner stove;

Hood fan;

Freezer;

Display fridge;

Sandwich prep fridge;

Hot water tank, fresh and grey water tanks;

Generator (Cummins 4500 watts); and

Fire Extinguisher (K series).

Inspections:

Our business has passed the health inspections as well as the electrical.

Propane: As we were operating in Boston Bar, we were not required to have the Propane system inspected or the Technical Safety BC decal. However, it was always part of our plans, as we were planning to travel to events of all sorts.

After a few weeks operating, we contacted a gas fitter and were informed that the kitchen would not pass the inspection for the propane. We received a list of what needed to be done and the major issue is that the unit doesn’t have a fire suppression system. There are also some fittings that need to be replaced and some welding.

Living in a remote area, it was difficult to find someone who was willing to take on this job quickly, and so we missed out on our season. The road closures due to the wildfire did not help either. This left us with no option but to find other work and sell the truck. We would love for it to have a new home and serve the next owner well.

We initially listed it higher but have dropped the price to allow for these updates. Reasonable offers are welcome.
