Ladies Diamond Jean Lassale 18k Watch

Offered here is a stunning vintage ladies 1980s - 1990s Jean Lassale Thalassa watch in solid 18K gold and stainless steel. Jean Lassale was a watch company using high end materials with ultra thin movements which was acquired by Seiko years after it’s founding. From some research I have done on this model, the Thalassa was launched in 1984 to compete with Concord Mariner which was a best selling watch at that time. The Thalassa was designed by Jorg Hysek and actually won Monte Carlo’s Laurel D’Or watch of the year award in 1986. Their advertising referred to this model as: “The most beautiful watch in the world” and claimed that the bracelet contained more pieces than the engine of a Rolls Royce. You can occasionally find a model such as this one in stainless steel or stainless steel with 14K gold but you would have a very hard time finding one in 18K solid gold and stainless with factory set vvs clarity diamonds such as this one. IT IS A VERY RARE Model with Diamonds! Take a look at the bracelet! The bracelet is designed like no other! With over 650 separate parts in solid 18k gold it is very flexible. In the mid 1980s this watch was more expensive than a Rolex. Jean Lassale made watches upto $50,000 which is equivalent to $130,000 today. Comes with wood box and appraisal papers.
