ISO Rent to own Land

My long time friend and I are looking at a life change (close friends for 18 years!). We currently live in the territories. We are looking for a large amount of property/ acreage to rent or rent to own. I have two young kids who are homeschooled but are okay with re-entering public school should one exist nearby. Between the two of us, we have 7 dogs! They are all happy, well-trained and would love a property that they could be free to run and play. Some are rescues, others couch potato mutts. :) We both have worked in animal rescue, as well as with dog teams. We are comfortable both living off grid and with wood stoves and have experience living in the wilderness. Our reason for moving is the high cost of living in the territories to be closer to the ocean and a more temperate climate. Truth be told, I made the mistake of taking my kids to Hello Kitty Cafe in Vancouver and now they want to go back (haha). I know that as a single mother here I would never be able to purchase a home or land for my children and that's where I've made the decision to move on. We love where we live, But we are both in our 40s and the winters are brutal, long, dark and cold. We'd like a change of pace and not -40s, we have done our time. If you have any suggestions or rentals/ rent to own opportunities that would belong to two amazing humans and my awesome kids and dogs, we'd really love to hear from you!
