This book was self-published in 1942 during World War II, when paper and printing materials were scarce and directed towards the war effort, this book has each page mimeographed and then bound. A Nebraska farm boy provides his travels through life including being in jail, farming, cattle raising, various jobs, World War II enlistment and service, going on a hunger strike, a stay in an insane asylum, etc. Hardcover bound in red cloth with blue lettering on spine. No dust jacket. Very good vintage condition. Appears to be signed by the author with an address listed. Font looks like a typewriter. There is an error fixed with whiteout and a pasted, typewritten correction. Available if you read this ad.
