VINTAGE NEC MULTISPEED EL LAPTOP

PRICE JUST REDUCED ! LOOKING FOR RETRO COMPUTER THAT IS ACTUALLY IN WORKING CONDITION? This is a vintage NEC MULTISPEED EL laptop in perfect working condition. When it was released in June of 1987 it was the fastest laptop on the market with an 8088 processor (at 9.54 Mz) and one of only two with a blue colour backlit screen (the other was Zenith). At the time of it's release the NEC Multispeed was the fastest laptop until superceded by faster chip machines such as the 286s and later. Comes with charger, operating system diskettes and supporting operating manuals. Also includes padded NEC carrying case. I have used it periodically to ensure that it is still booting up properly and functioning. While this is absolutely no match for the current laptops it will be of interest to the collector or technophile who has an interest in vintage computer technology that is actually still in operating condition.
