I’m the original owner. Purchased for work on November 9th 2021 for $5404.13 for the computer, upgrades and Apple care. I’m happy to show receipts.
This laptop has spent 95% of its life on a desk in clamshell mode and the other 5% at my home. Selling this only because I need a desktop more than a laptop.
Original Apple Care is still valid until December of 2024.
All original packaging is included.
Wear and Tear: The computer is performance perfect but there are 2 cosmetic issues you should know about.
There are two, very thin, hair line scratches on the apple logo on the top case. I tried to buff them out using a polishing cloth and that dulled the shine of the logo in the very middle.
I have always keep this computer in a hard shell case. The sort you buy on Amazon for $25 to protect it from scratches and liquid. Recently I noticed some faint markings on the bottom casing that I had never seen before. I googled the problem and found people with the exact same issue - apparently it was caused by the protective case I had on the laptop. I guess these cases can affect how the aluminum oxidizes. I had no idea that would be possible but beawre if you buy and use hard shell snap cases! Here’s a link to someone with the same problem …
