Description

I have more than I will need! Things were desperate last summer so going into fall, there was still no hay or haylage to buy. That window in October with almost two weeks with no rain saved some of us. Good quality, I can't vouch for what is wrapped, but every bale I've used has been really good. Better than what was cut in July when we had that one-week haying window. Made by a guy near me, he's does a good job. Four bales available for purchase. The bales lasted longer than many I've bought in the past, that's why I bought too many. Considering the weather and lack of hay, I was going by "better safe than sorry!" You never know until you buy it if it's going to be skimpy bales or well-full bales. These are well-packed bales.

I don't have a way to load them, but these four are on top of the four I have, and can be tipped by a couple of people --right into your pick-up or trailer. Access will be easier with a pick-up. Each bale would have the equal of about 20 average square bales of 25 lbs each...or more. That's my estimate, so about 500 lbs each bale.

The hay is nice and dry but not burnt to a crisp, still has flavour and colour--I was very pleased with it, not knowing what to expect with such a bad year.

Price is $70 each.
