BLACK INTACT MALE CAT WITH SOME WHITE/GREY HAIRS SPATTERED ABOUT FACE AND BODY has been coming around for about a few of weeks now and has been sleeping in my community cat shelters. He had a matted fur clump on his back which at first thought it was an injury. I cut it away and brushed it out and gave him a cloth bath. He has bite scabs (scrapping with other toms) and scratches around his ears, possibly ear mites as they seem to be very itchy for him. He is not chipped so I am unable to locate his family. After his initial fear of strangers, he's actually a very sweet and loving cat! It's getting colder out so I have caught him up and have made an appointment for intake at AACC for next Wednesday (30th). I am keeping him for tonight and then papper collaring him to see if he belongs to someone in this area. I will monitor him and if no one contacts me within a few days, I will bring him back inside but in the meantime there's water, food and 5 shelters in my yard in case it's needed. If he's yours and has been missplaced/lost please come and call for him (between 140-144 Ave & 87-88A Street) or give me a name to see if he'll respond to it and I'll let you know. Any questions, I'd be happy to answer. Let's get this loving kitty back to his peoples.
