European speedo in great shape Used on many 1950s 1960s 1970s vintage racing motorcycles 976 Miles shown 0-60 clockwise instrument VDO speedometers were the best there was for off-road bikes back in the '70s & '80s, but seriously competitive enduro riders didn't need a speedometer--they needed to know if they were maintaining the standard 24 mph average, so VDO came up with these "Enduro Racers." Sold through the Husky Products catalog and Penton's Hi-Point Accessory division, they were used by the top AMA endurance riders, like the Penton boys and Dick Burleson.
The instrument is the exact same size as a normal VDO, so it fits any VDO speedo mount and uses a standard VDO drive and cable to operate. If you are displaying a restored Husky or Penton, this would be a great addition to the bike--no one else will have one!
