I am a music teacher with a plethora of experience and a passion for fostering joy in learning. I was bit by the music bug as a child and since then she have performed an innumerable amount of times in different musical theatre productions, choirs and bands. I've performed in front of 15 000 people, and in front of 2, and both have sharpened my skills as an artist and educator.
My focus as a teacher is on curiosity and cultivating confidence. My approach is all about meeting each student where they are at, and I'm not afraid to get a little silly along the way.
At the music academy I teach at, I've developed a young beginners program for kids just beginning their musical journey. It incorporates including singing, keyboard skills, music literacy, ukulele, rhythm games, and more.
I can also teach advanced technique for adults and delve into topics of foundational technique, music theory and acting through song.
Lesson rates for $40 an hour, with 30, 45 and 60 minute packages available. Discounted package rates apply for multiple lessons. Payment can easily be e-transfer or cash.
Lessons can be in-person or online.
