Hello to those interested in learning Piano,
I have taught piano for 10 years now. I originally learned from and eventually taught at the Ontario Conservatory of Music. I moved to teaching privately because I felt I could give students a more customized, quality lesson, tailored to their individual needs. Schools are standardized and sometimes students need someone to adapt to their needs and that is where I come in. I enjoy what I do and I enjoy watching students discover their potential.
I was enrolled in the Piano/Vocal Program at Mayfield School of Arts in Brampton and have studied up to Grade 9 Practical RCM curriculum with the corresponding theoretical training. I am also very familiar with many other styles rooted in Jazz and have spent several years composing my own works which are available to listen on Youtube.
If you want a passionate, energetic teacher who'll not only show you how play the keys but will in the process teach you strategies to deal with and overcome challenges that will apply to all angles in life, I'm it.
