Hello! We are Danny and Kelly, and we are graduates of the Irish World Academy in MA Irish Traditional Music Performance. We want to spread the joy of playing Irish Trad Music!
Danny has always played Irish Traditional music, and had been an active performer in North America and Ireland. Kelly is from Montreal, and had written a tunebook on learning Irish Fiddling with instrumental background. Kelly has also been playing Scottish music for the past decade!
We both are excited to connect with more musicians of all backgrounds and ages, and would love to introduce the wonders of Irish music and build a community here!!
Collectively, we can provide piano / piano accordion / piano accompaniment and fiddle lessons. Lessons will be conducted in 30mins/45mins/60mins depending on the student’s level and needs. Lessons will be interactive, visual, with focus on tunes, ornamentations, rhythm and phrasing.
Danny can also prepare students for the Flaedh, if students wish to dive deeper in the tradition and compete. Danny had won 2nd and 3rd places multiple years at the All Ireland Flaedh Cheoil! You can follow his social media to see him in action!!
