Are you a compassionate and organized Medical Office Assistant with OSCAR experience and good computer skills? Our well-established and busy family practice in the Guildwood area of Scarborough is seeking a dedicated individual to join our team! About Us: We pride ourselves on providing exceptional patient care in a supportive and collaborative environment. What You'll Do: Greet and register patients, ensuring a welcoming and efficient experience. Schedule and manage appointments, optimizing physician schedules. Maintain accurate and confidential patient records using the OSCAR EMR system. Handle patient inquiries via phone and in person, providing timely and helpful assistance. Process referrals, manage correspondence, and handle administrative tasks. Prepare examination rooms and maintain a clean and organized workspace. Process patient payments. What We're Looking For: Minimum 1 year of experience in a medical office setting. Proficiency with the OSCAR electronic medical records system (essential). Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills. Exceptional organizational and time-management abilities. Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment. A positive, empathetic, and team-oriented attitude. Details: Full-time position: 25-40 hours per week. Occasional evening and weekend shifts (specific details to be discussed during interviews).
