Position: Brewing/ Distilling Equipment Specialist

Start Date: Training beginning immediately. Somewhat flexible on start date but ideally no later than Monday, April 15, 2024

Pay: $22-$25 per hour plus opportunity for earning significant sales commissions

Job Type: Permanent/ full time (Monday - Friday)

We are a very small and concise team who offer a friendly and healthy working environment. We seek an intelligent, hard working, positive, and self driven individual who is willing to take on a multi faceted role at our office and warehouse headquartered in south Barrie, Ontario. This position will be responsible for handling a variety of tasks from customer interaction and sales to shipping and receiving when necessary.

We’re especially looking for someone who has professional experience working as a brewer or distiller, or someone who is already passionate about the the brewing and distilling process who is eager to take their passion and knowledge of the craft to the next level and become an industry equipment specialist.

Duties Include:

Checking and replying to daily emails from customers.

Consulting with existing and prospective commercial brewery and distillery clients.

Maintaining showroom display units.

Handling walk-in customer sales.

Handling some purchasing from our suppliers.

Processing, packing, and shipping orders out from warehouse.

Overseeing warehouse receiving and stocking.

Keeping warehouse tidy and organized.

Qualifications and Necessary Skills

Some knowledge or professional experience with brewing and /or distilling equipment.

Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.

Excellent communication skills.

Excellent organizational skills.

Strong writing skills.

Ability to handle multiple competing tasks.

Ability to think outside the box and improvise where necessary.

Some physical strength necessary.

Live within reasonable commuting distance from Barrie, Ontario.
