We are looking to hire 2 flexible and reliable respite workers for our two children ages 10 and 8 who both have Autism Spectrum Disorder. Respite will take place in our home in Massey Drive.
This will be a summer position with the option to continue hours when children return to school in September.
The position will consist of shift work that could vary from week to week. 10-20 hours are available weekly depending on the week. Hours can vary based on the week and will consist of afternoons, evenings or weekends. Additional occasional day shifts may be available if the children are home from school, planned or otherwise. *Summer will include day shifts.
The successful candidate must posess the ability to work with neurodivergent child behaviour such as compulsive and/or aggressive behaviours. **candidates must be willing to work in a home that has multiple small animals.
Remuneration is $17.05 per hour plus 4% vacation pay.
