Job Description:Job Description We are looking for an experienced Locksmithfor our client located in Newmarket, ON. They are into the business of locksmithing. Responsibilities: · Install new locks, change lock combinations; check and repair existing locks, which may include re-pinning. · Maintain multiple files of master keys and master records for security of master keys. · Requisition parts; maintain a spare parts inventory. · Perform security survey and lay out master key system in new and existing facilities. · Evaluate hardware and advise administrators of suitability and compatibility of locks and hardware and compliance with Fire Codes. · Make minor repairs to doors, windows, filing cabinets, desks, etc. · Perform snow removal by hand shoveling, snow blower, or plow. · Work with our electronic doors and openers. Facilitate the card reader/badge system. · Work with groups that rent our facilities. · Maintain positive customer relations with staff and the public. · Other duties as assigned. Requirements: · Overtime required. · Long standing hours · Punctuality Location: Newmarket Shift: 8:30 am to 5:00 pm (Mon – Fri) Pay rate: $30/hr to $40/hr.
