Parts Counterperson (Heavy/Light Duty Truck Parts)

Job Description:Job Description Tenure: Full-Time, Permanent Location: Mississauga, ON Responsibilities:Conduct truck parts sales through face-to-face interactions with both potential & existing customers in a B2B environmentEnsure collection of payments from customers through constant touch base and liaise with account receivables team for regular follow up.Build & maintain relationships with new & existing customers, maintain record of all potential sales leads & customer accounts.Monitor the company’s industry competitors, new products, and market conditions to understand customer specific needs.Analyze market trends and identify new business opportunities, provide timely market intel feedback to management.Work closely with warehouse & procurement team on new product/part demand & price position in market.Work closely with the marketing department to help build the brand. Requirements:An undergraduate degree in sales & marketing, or business administration, or an equivalent combination of training and experience.Over-the-Counter sales experience requiredExperience calling on transportation customers with heavy-duty tractor truck fleets or other vocational truck fleets.Self-sufficient with Microsoft Office tools, and experience using CRM software. Experience with AS400 would be an added asset, (but not mandatory).Bilingual (English & French) would be a valuable (but not essential) asset
