Location: Hazlet, Saskatchewan Job Type: Full-Time (Seasonal positions considered) available immediately About Us: Sandstone Farms Ltd is a mixed farming operation specializing in small grains and beef cattle. We’re looking for a dedicated Farm Hand to join our team. If you enjoy working outdoors, operating equipment, and caring for livestock, this is the role for you! Responsibilities - Operate farm equipment for seeding, trucking, seed cleaning, haying, harvest etc. - Perform routine equipment maintenance and minor repairs in a heated shop. - Repair and build fences - Feed and care for livestock - Assist with cattle processing - Strong work ethic and ability to work independently and as part of a team Qualifications - Class 1A would be a great asset but not required - Ability to perform basic math and follow manuals for troubleshooting - Experience with farm machinery preferred - Mechanical skills for maintenance and repair are an asset - Strong work ethic and positive attitude is a must - Willingness to learn and grow within the operation - Patient and attentive when working with livestock What We Offer - Competitive pay based on experience - Housing available no charge - 40–80 hour work weeks depending on season - K-12 school in Hazlet - We are willing to train the right candidate. - Duties and position will be determined based on experience.
