Position Overview:

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Dance Educator to join our team at Lakepoint Fine Arts Centre. The Dance Educator will play a key role in developing and delivering high-quality dance programs for students of all ages and skill levels. Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement comprehensive dance curriculum for various age groups and skill levels, including but not limited to ballet, modern, jazz, tap, hip-hop, and contemporary dance styles. Plan and lead engaging and dynamic dance classes, workshops, and rehearsals that inspire creativity, discipline, and technical proficiency. Provide constructive feedback and guidance to students to support their growth and development as dancers. Collaborate with other instructors and staff members to coordinate performances, recitals, and special events showcasing students' achievements. Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment that values diversity, equity, and inclusion. Stay current with trends and developments in dance education and incorporate innovative teaching methods and techniques into curriculum design and delivery. Maintain a safe and organized dance studio environment, adhering to all safety protocols and procedures. Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Dance, Dance Education, or related field (Master's degree preferred). Proven experience as a dance educator, instructor, or choreographer, with a minimum of [X] years of teaching experience. Extensive knowledge and proficiency in a variety of dance styles and techniques. Strong choreography skills and ability to create original dance pieces for performances and showcases. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and connect with students, parents, and colleagues.
