Weekend Support - West Pickering Are you a mature, open-minded and energetic person looking for a meaningful part-time weekend position? An affable gentleman in his late fifties, who has been a treasured member of a cooperative housing community is looking for a couple of people to provide support to him in his 2-bedroom apartment in west Pickering. He enjoys nature and all its beauty, including bird watching. Has been a long-time supporter of local events, in particular live music; including a local orchestra. His support includes, but is not limited to: Meal preparation, administering medication, supporting and attending local community cultural events and trail walking at Lynde Shores conservation Area, assistance with personal care and some light housekeeping. The candidate will be part of a support team, and will come to see how this gentleman has, through his gifts and contributions has supported his community to be a better one and a more inclusive one. Full orientation is provided. Looking for two individuals to provide support during these times: Saturdays 3pm -10pm Overnight 10pm – 730pm Sunday’s daytime: 7:30am to 3pm Compensation: $21.00/hour Candidate must have a full Ontario driver’s license, clean abstract and reliable vehicle plus a current CRC Vulnerable Persons document.
