Looking to hire a Bookkeeper

Glen Cougle & Sons Ltd. is seeking a detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team. This is a great opportunity for an organized professional who takes pride in accuracy and keeping the financial side of a busy operation running smoothly. What you'll do: Maintain accurate financial records, including accounts payable and receivable Process payroll and remittances Reconcile bank and credit card statements Prepare and file HST/GST returns Generate financial reports for management Manage invoicing, expense tracking, and general ledger entries Assist with month-end and year-end close, and liaise with our external accountant What we're looking for: 2+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience Proficiency with accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, or similar) Solid understanding of Canadian payroll and tax requirements Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to handle confidential information with discretion Proficiency with Microsoft Excel
