One of Korea's (South of course) is collecting native speaker voice data to train their AI to recognize native speakers.
Having exhausted the pool of foreign applicants here, we are trying to reach out. I am a Canadian from Ottawa and took part in this program. I reside in Korea and have been asked to find Canadians to participate.
This program involves simply talking to people over the phone - though not calling, but making use of a recording site. The company prepared a website where both participants connect and talk. The voice data will be used to train an AI system that will translate English to Korean and vice versa - much like the new Galaxy S24.
Since I am abroad, applicants will have to first contact me via email and then I can give my Whatsapp later - please email me at koryinu@gmail.com to inquire further. No personal data beyond name, age, hometown is needed.
I do have a CIBC account, so EMT is fine - payment of $50 per participant (you must have a person already arranged you can record with).
