This practical chicken coop has two interconnected areas, combining a protected nesting house with a run for pecking and scraping. The overall size of the coop is a spacious 310 x 150 x 150 cm. As the house is located on the second level, which can be reached via a stepladder, the large floor area is completely free to roam around.
The house is equipped with two big nesting boxes, which both have hinged roofs making them more accessible. Below the main house there is a galvanised tray that can be pulled out, making it easier to clean the main house.
The coop is made of high-quality wood and painted in a red-brown colour. The colour not only provides a modern look, but also protects the wood from weathering. Both the window in the house and the outdoor enclosure are equipped with galvanized steel mesh, which is weatherproof and withstands the beaks of chickens and keeps predators away.
