Hi there! I have a certificate in Canine Behaviour and Training Methodology and am a member of the Alberta Force Free Alliance. I am offering basic training for you and your dog.
In addition to 4 years certified training, I have 15+ years of hands-on experience working with dogs in local animal rescue. I've also provided pet sitting/care services as a side business for the last 5 years.
I use only force-free, fear-free, positive reinforcement methods, based in the science of learning. As such, I will never use a prong/pinch, choke or e-collar to train your dog. Studies have shown that positive reinforcement is superior to other training methods. There is never a need to train your pet with pain or fear.
I have competencies in basic obedience, canine behaviour and fundamentals. I am not currently offering consults/training for extreme behaviour issues including aggression, biting, excessive fear etc. If you need assistance with more complex issues, I will refer you elsewhere.
I am available evenings and weekends - training sessions will take place in your home.
Initial session - 1.5 hours
Subsequent sessions - 1 hour
