Andrea McKay, a trained veterinary assistant, provides petsitting and other care services in the pet's own home. Serving dogs, cats, and other domestic pets in ARNPRIOR and the surrounding areas. Bonded and insured. References available. PETTSITTING - Day visits and overnights. Includes food/water, exercise/TLC, litter/cage cleaning, basic grooming/hygiene, and activity log. Additional services and special needs as discussed with client. DOG WALKING - Walks range from 30 mins to 1 hr. Dogs remain on leash the entire time unless in a fully fenced, secure area. Log maintained to record time of walk, location, duration, behaviour and eliminations. HEALTH SUPPORT and HYGIENE - Brush, bathe, trim and dry (basic grooming). Teeth brushing, ear cleaning, nail trims, tick removal, etc. Medication (not intravenous). Assist with pets that are ill, convalescent, or geriatric as per vet instructions. CANINE MASSAGE - A Canine Massage Therapist, certified by the Royal Canadian College of Massage Therapists, Ms. McKay provides massage for relaxation purposes and to support convalescence (with veterinary approval). PET TAXI and PET SUPPLIES DELIVERY - Collect pet and client from home and take them to veterinarian or groomer. Pick up supplies ordered from pet store or veterinary office and deliver to client's home. SERVICE FEES - Dogwalking is $15 per 1/2 hour, $20 per hour. Fulltime petsitting (including overnight) is $50 per day. Day visit petsitting is $15 for 1/2 hour, $20 per hour (per visit). There are no extra charges for multiple pets. Fees for other services are calculated by time involved: $15 for the initial 15 minutes, $5 for every subsequent 15 minutes. E.g. $20/30 min, $25/45 min, $30/60 min Fees negotiable for long term services. Discounts for seniors and those with mobility issues. An additional fee may be added for travel required.
