Our pre-agility classes start in September and January each year.
Held at the 1250. Latimore lake road. Saint John
The pre-agility class is for any friendly breed of dog aged from 8 months old. Even if you don't go on to take more classes in agility it is still a very good learning class for dogs.
The class is held for a very busy 8 weeks of learning . A sample of some of the content would be
Crate games
Leash shadow handling
Sit, downs and stays
Focus and focus forward
Close and side commands
How to introduce and play with dog toys
Retrieve to hand
Its your choice
Building value for reward zones
Find it and search for rewards
basic introduction to grid work and much more
Following the set of 6 classes would be a second set of 8 classes to safely introduce your dog to the equipment used on a agility course.
