The Bartell B446 Pro Series Trowel has been the staple for concrete finishers around the world due to its quality and balance. The gear-box and spider assembly have changed little over the past 70 years and continue to be one of the most reliable units on the market. Available in 36” or 46” variations, all trowels are manufactured from heavy gauge steel and jig welded to ensure complete rigidity.
Our gear box and spider design is where Bartell Pro series really excel. Gear boxes are produced from Precision machined aluminum, and contain heavy duty bronze and steel worm gears. Our spider design uses matched tolerances between the hub and arms to ensure no flex. This design keeps the trowel blades down firmly to eliminate high spots fast. Production rates are the result.
COMMERCIAL VS PRO TROWELS - WHAT'S THE DIFFERENCE
Bartell manufactures 2 types of Power Trowels – Commercial and Pro Series. These series both come in a 36 or 46 option and accomplish the same task for the contractor. There are a few differences between the Commercial and Pro Series:

The design and technology in these Power Trowel Series are the same. Both series have a very high build quality. The Commercial Series is comparable to any other standard power trowel in the market, while the Pro Series is the only Walk Behind Power Trowel on the market that has a Ride-on Trowel gearbox for increased performance and dependability.
