The 242H EPIC Series hand-held Hole Digger features an all position, 4-stroke engine. No more mixing oil with gas. No more separate fuel cans. And, no more smoky exhaust with a Honda engine that meets current EPA emission standards. The 242H is built with professional features that make it ideal for both contractors and homeowners alike. Performance to dig up to an 8 inch (203 mm) diameter hole in a variety of soil classifications. Built with oversized ball bearings, heat treated shafts and precise, machine-cut gears designed to deliver long service life and high ROI. The unique, ergonomically engineered Power-GRIP operator handle helps maximize control, strength and balance plus, dampens vibration and reduces the effects of kickback and body fatigue while increasing overall digging comfort, productivity and jobsite safety. The 242H is also equipped with the convenient Auger-LOK system for aiding in removing stuck augers. For use in non-hazardous environments with the 2350 Bor-Max® Series earth augers and auger extension.
