MEXXPOWER 8 INCH MX-WM8H PTO WOOD CHIPPER-SHREDDER WITH HYDRAULIC INFEED
The MexxPower MX-WM8H hydraulic auto-feed chipper is a robust self-feeding PTO driven wood chipper attachment that mounts to the 3-point hitch of your tractor. This PTO woodchipper is compact, yet built to withstand commercial use. Dual powered infeed rollers grab and pull material into the chipper head using two powerful hydraulic motors. These motors are powered by the chipper’s self-contained hydraulic pump and tank (no hydraulics required from tractor). Please note, you will need at least 19 horsepower at the PTO to operate this machine.

Pressure Compensate Flow Control Valve allows for very precise infeed roller speed without causing back pressure on the hydraulic pump. This allows the user to regulate the speed of the infeed rollers to exactly match their tractors capabilities while increasing the life of the hydraulic pump.
6.25" Diameter Hardened Steel Commercial Style Infeed Rollers easily climbs up and grabs the branches to bite in and efficiently pull the material into the flywheel at up to 75 ft./min.
360° with an adjustable throwing angle. The shredded material can be thrown up to 20 ft. in distance making it easy to fill trailers or containers.

MexxPower MX-WM8H requires a tractor with a category 1 or 2 three point hitch and at least 19 hp. at the PTO. Chipping capacity is directly related to horse power and torque, therefore with 19 hp. you can expect to chip 4 hard and 6 soft material and with 50 hp. you can expect to chip any material up to 8 in diameter with no trouble. In testing a 30 hp. tractor gave excellent work to fuel consumption results. Tractors with more than 50 hp. will not over power or damage the wood chipper since it is shear bolt protected, but will simply consume more fuel to accomplish the same results
Large diameter (6.25) infeed roller that easily climbs up and grabs the branches to bite in and efficiently pull the material into the flywheel. This chipper equipped with 2 dual edge reversible carbon CR12 KNIVES and one bed blade. Reversible chipper blades can be flipped to take advantage of having two cutting edges on one blade. MX-WM8H chipper knives can be changed from the side access panel of the machine by one person in as little as 10 minutes.
MexxPower MX-WM8H Chipper is equipped with Adjustable Speed Dual Hydraulic Infeed Motors. Adjustable speed aggressive dual counter-rotating hydraulic powered infeed rollers work together to pull material into the chipper head. This feature allows the user to slow the infeed speed down to accept large material.
MexxPower MX-WM8H wood chippers are equipped with an adjustable bed knife to ensure that the proper knife gap is achieved. This feature allows the user to adjust the distance between the flywheel knife and the bed knife so that the required distance is maintained after knife sharpening. Proper gap is important so that even the smallest material is chipped as it passes through the chipper.
