Custom made machine that flattens live edge slabs in minutes!
I stole the design/idea from the Australian made "Wood Wizz" and hired a machinist to help me assemble it. It's essentially a router sled on steroids. It has a 220v 5 HP motor (connected to a variable frequency drive that can increase/decrease the cutting speed). The cutting head uses easily replaceable planer teeth to cut a 6" path through wood, up to 1/4" deep per pass. I've got $10,000 into this unit between materials and paying the machinist. And a lot of hours. A new wood Wizz goes for $30K. Includes the Canwood dust collection system.
I've shut down the business and need to clean out the shop so I can stop paying rent. This unit MUST GO!
