Note: I did not install any Brother software drivers from the Brother website. Everything is native to Windows. If you are using wireless printing like I am, you need to configure on the printer itself with the name of your wireless network etc.... If you are printing through USB, I assume it will be quite straightforward. Photo 7 - scanning through a software called PDF Pro. I guess you can use other software too as long as the scanner is recognized in the Printer and Scanner info page of Windows. I have not tried other software, PDF PRO this is the only one I am using as it scans directly from and into the software without hassle and saved as pdf.
