Join Our Team: Web Technician We're on the lookout for an experienced Web Technician who shares our commitment to excellence. Job Summary: • Position: Web Technician (NOC 22220) • Work Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:30 AM to 5:00 PM 37.5 hours weekly, 52 weeks annually) • Work Location: 15 Wertheim Court suite 501, Richmond Hill, Ontario, L4B 3H7 • Salary: CAD$32.00/hour, Full-time • Benefits: Health Benefit Plan, RRSP Matching Plan Key Responsibilities: • Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and upgrade web server hardware and software. • Respond promptly to help requests and information inquiries from website visitors and designers. • Implement network traffic and security monitoring software. • Optimize server performance for efficient operation. • Strong knowledge of Microsoft365, SharePoint, Exchange Online, etc. • Monitor and control email usage, web navigation, and installed software. • Enhance web portal user experience using JavaScript, HTML, CSS and WordPress. • Manage and maintain backend APIs using Python Flask for improved claim processing. • Basic knowledge of SQL Server Management Studio to generate required reports • Enhancing data processing using VBA. • Require web scraping skill (prefer selenium) for data extraction and automation test. • Manage Amazon EC2 server and other cloud service with third party IT company to resolving downtime/connection issues and service bridging. Qualifications and Skills Required: • Minimum 2 years of programming experience, particularly in JavaScript, React, HTML, CSS, Python, and MySQL. • Knowledge of network infrastructure, databases and systems in relation of IT security and Risk Management. • Proven track record in IT support, preferably in an insurance company context. • Proficiency in apps and APIs design for work efficiency improvements. • Experience in maintaining and troubleshooting SQL databases and Amazon cloud services. • Strong knowledge of Selenium, Python, and VBA. • Some knowledge of Azure cloud services and Google cloud services. • Understanding of VoIP technology, Cisco switches, Network Attached Storage (NAS) management server.

Educational Background: • University degree or college diploma in related area, or • Completion of relevant courses including: • React.js, Automated Software Testing with Selenium, Node.js, Flask, MySQL, AWS Certified Developer, ITF+, Flutter Bootcamp courses. • CS courses about programming algorithm and data structure.
