Great for a garage or basement pantry (this thing is large, so you would need to deconstruct to put it in the basement, and re-construction is a two person job. It needs to sit on a "base", and I have some 2"x4" material I can give you if you'd like. Once you get the base level (easy to do) the cabinet just sits on it, no need to mount down.
There is a large area of the gable wall that popped out when we removed it, but it's mainly cosmetic (see photo).
