Cerwin Vega DT-5 Dome Tweeter - Pinacle of CV Dome Tweeters

These are about the best reproduction dome tweeter Cerwin Vega ever made. Available in the AT-12 and AT-15 (as a loaded horn assembly) Cerwin Vega added a 1.5inch throated horn body in the AT-15 to the DT-5 frame to increase SPL output. The result of course with a horn design is a smaller dispersion angle. You just had to point them more in the direction you wanted the sound ...... not a big deal right? These are among some of the nicest sounding tweeters out there that you do not have to take a bank loan out for. I have used them in many custom rock speaker design/build applications I have done as their nominal output is 101 db with 1 watt applied and are 4ohm. I sell them as pairs, they make impressive upgrades to just about any high output speaker system. All are in excellent and undamaged condition and are crystal clear. The DT-5 were made in the USA. * Faceplate OD is 4.0 inches * 4- Mounting holes are 3.625(3-5/8) inches center to center * Magnet OD is 3.25(3-1/4) inches, so cabinet mounting hole can be 3.31(3-5/16) inches plus some wiggle * They can be packed and shipped just about anywhere for a reasonable safe packing fee plus actual shipping cost.
