Beautiful White Oak slabs from a local century old tree. Some of the slabs from the main trunk are massive and nearly perfectly clear/straight grain. While other slabs from further up the tree have beautiful and unique knots and grain patterns. Slabs are cut at various thicknesses and have a variety of widths, lengths and thicknesses. Widths - 14 to 46 inches Lengths - 72 to 120 inches Thicknesses - 6/4 to 12/4 (1.5 to 3 inches) Half of the tree has been kiln dried and is ready to be worked. The other half has been dried outdoors (covered) for 4 years, and can be kiln dried and ready in a few weeks. Wood is priced by the board foot (12 by 12 inches by 1 inch thick), and ranges from $8 to $15 per board foot depending on the size of the slabs (larger slabs are more per board foot).
