Reserve Mines is a wonderful community to buy a house in for those who prefer a slower-paced environment. This part of Cape Breton Municipality is very quiet overall, as there isn't a lot of street noise or city clamour - however some parts can be quite loud, especially near the airport (Sydney/J.A. Douglas McCurdy Airport). Finally, there are a few green spaces nearby for residents to discover, such as Reserve Mines Legacy Park, which makes it easy to get to them from the majority of locations in the community.
