Looking for a vegetarian roommate to share a large, beautiful two-bedroom apartment with one friendly dog and myself, a semi-retired gay man. A platonic roommate of any age or gender, not a romantic partner. Single occupancy only. The bedroom is a generous 12' x 10', with plenty of closet space. The apartment is in a small, friendly, quiet building and has a particularly nice layout: center-hall design, no shared walls with other apartments, and closets between the two bedrooms for extra privacy and sound separation. It's a gem. The kitchen, bathroom and other common areas are shared. The kitchen is well equipped, with a good selection of kitchen appliances. Rent includes heat, hydro and Wi-Fi. There’s also a dishwasher, because life is too short to argue over dishes. The location is excellent, with easy access to Yonge and Spadina subway lines, the Eglinton Crosstown, and direct bus service to Pearson Airport. It's an easy walk to Avenue Road Village, many different grocery stores and restaurants, and there's convenient access to York University, Toronto Metropolitan University and U of T. Smoking is permitted on the terrace only. I'm looking for someone who is friendly, considerate, clean, and looking for a comfortable, peaceful home rather than simply a place to crash.
