Wanted:Oct/Nov 1st - Awesome Roommates (Downtown Toronto, West)
We are looking for two new roommates to share our home in the West end of Downtown Toronto (At College and Lansdowne).
These will be short-term or month-to-month sublets starting October and November 1st. The rooms are available for three to six months (or more), depending on timing and what you need.
We currently have a great mix on people in their late 20’s and early 30’s as well as a lovely two-year-old dog, Lucy. The house and room are all fully furnished. This is a three-bedroom house with one bathroom, kitchen, living/dining room space, two balconies with tons of plants and outdoor seating, etc etc.
The bedrooms available are as follows:
1) Oct 1st: Main floor bedroom is approximately 8 'x 13', and includes a Queen size bed, desk, dresser, and closet. The windows in the house face West so there is lots of natural sunlight. This is renting for $785.
2) Nov 1st: Large upper loft bedroom is much larger and has a queen-sized bed, desk, shelf, closet, etc. This room is renting for $845.
To be clear – the price for each bedroom includes rent, utilities, and internet. There are two additional costs: $50/month to cover shared expenses, supplies, cleaning products, etc. and $30/month of use for air conditioning (at your discretion). First and last month's rent is required prior to the move-in date.

In general, we hope to find two like-minded and motivated professionals that will add some new energy to the mix. So long as you are clean, easy-going, gainfully employed, self-driven, and respectful we will get along just fine.
Some activities we enjoy include gardening, cooking, biking, hiking, camping, building things, photography, road trips, and frequent walks to High Park (especially Lucy).
We follow a variety of diets including keto, whole food, and vegetarian. We are all fairly health conscious and are focused on our overall wellness. We enjoy keeping our space clean and inviting. If this sounds like you then you are in the right place.
As much as we LOVE pets, we are NOT taking in any at this time. Sorry! We have a lovely two-year-old dog and she is more than enough :) She will not be your responsibility, but we are letting you know in advance for allergy/compatibility reasons. She is a long-haired dog and sheds.
We would prefer to live with people that work Monday to Friday ~9-5ish hours as we all have that general schedule. Over the last year, some of us have adjusted to working from home. We understand that this may be an important consideration for you when looking for a space. We will consider this as a possibility on a case-by-case basis. Each person's circumstances are unique and we would be happy to discuss your specific needs for the space.
